GRWM | Living in Abuja #6 | Living alone | A day in my life

I've made a YouTube vlog about how I navigate my life in Abuja. I think Abuja is one of the coolest, quietest cities to live in, but I have a problem with it; it's boring and less fun than Lagos. I really miss Lagos State, with its vibrant energy and bustling atmosphere even though Lagos is overpopulated and has a lot of upside down its still a happening place because everyone wants to live in Lagos, but I want you to know that Lagos is not the way Nollywood portrayed it to be, it's just a movie because you will hustle your ass out, Abuja has its diverse cultural scene and its lively nightlife. quiet life, and as an introverted person, I guess that is working for me, but I still miss that Lagos vibe and hanging out with a few friends. I enjoy exploring Abuja's art galleries, museums, and theaters, which contribute to its vibrant cultural scene.

CHANGE IS BOUND TO HAPPEN

In life we all go through process, i can say constant change, we meet new people everyday, acquire new knowledge quotidian, it’s not the same person you know today you will know tomorrow, people change for a reason, either good or bad change is meant to occur. If someone stops talking to you, it doesn’t mean the person disregard you, it means the person is finding himself, growing and starting a new phase in life

I have been in some situation, whereby i dissolve the toxic friends around me, because they add no value to my life, they rather see me as their rival, i wonder why people develop hate interest around you? that i can’t answer for them. To succeed in life, one must be royal, humble and diligent. Not all laughing with you wants the best for you, their are different categories of people in this world, which as you grow, explore you will discover them one by one, bit by bit

To succeed in life, it requires your hard work, you don’t expect manner to fall from heaven just for you, lol, create your own success story and see how life goes for you. Never for one’s, live on someone’s success, never depend on their achievement, There’s no room, they say it contains your money never, rather you work for that money in a legit way, i see my fellow youths waste their time on some illegal businesses, in this life always have a backup plan, invest your time in something meaningful

So far you are not disabled, you can walk, write and talk, what’s stopping you from performing? get your shits together and earn a cent for yourself, it’s only a lazy youth will relax and do nothing to earn a living, do not be lazy like the languorous entities

How to Discover What You’re Passionate About

A common theme in most writing on goal setting is the need to follow your passions.  Do the things that make you want to get up early in the morning.  There’s only one thing missing: What if you don’t have any passions?   I’m sure everyone on this planet has interests.  But that’s not the same thing.  Enjoying playing video games isn’t the same as spending thousands of hours designing your own.  Your passion has to be something you would work exceptionally hard for. So what do you do, if there is nothing you feel that engaged about? The Way to Start Isn’t With a Survey… A lot of career guidance involves measuring your current skills and personality, and then deciding what you would be most suited for.  I don’t like this approach because people are complex.  And any test will ultimately be a gross simplification of what’s important to you and what you like to do. I once heard a story about a wealthy woman who was looking for a husband....

How to Stop Making Excuses

“I don’t know how.” “It probably wouldn’t have worked anyways.” “I’m too busy.” How often do you catch yourself making excuses. Instead of doing something, you come up with ways to explain your inaction. Excuse-makers are usually seen as weak, lazy or cowardly. I believe this is an unfair generalization. We all make excuses once in a while. Sometimes we make excuses and other times we stop rationalizing and take action. I’m sure most of us can remember times when we procrastinated and wasted days before starting a project. I’m also sure most of us can remember times we started immediately, and finished ahead of schedule. The differences between these two cases could be described as a difference of willpower. When you procrastinated, you lacked willpower. But that isn’t helpful. If willpower is outside your direct control, then claiming willpower as a solution isn’t going to work. Instead, I believe that the answer to stop making excuses lies has two steps: Organizing y...
