GRWM | Living in Abuja #6 | Living alone | A day in my life

I've made a YouTube vlog about how I navigate my life in Abuja. I think Abuja is one of the coolest, quietest cities to live in, but I have a problem with it; it's boring and less fun than Lagos. I really miss Lagos State, with its vibrant energy and bustling atmosphere even though Lagos is overpopulated and has a lot of upside down its still a happening place because everyone wants to live in Lagos, but I want you to know that Lagos is not the way Nollywood portrayed it to be, it's just a movie because you will hustle your ass out, Abuja has its diverse cultural scene and its lively nightlife. quiet life, and as an introverted person, I guess that is working for me, but I still miss that Lagos vibe and hanging out with a few friends. I enjoy exploring Abuja's art galleries, museums, and theaters, which contribute to its vibrant cultural scene.

Achieving Your Dreams and Goals

Achieving Goals
Do you have dreams and goals?
Sure you have, but what are doing to make them come true?
Often, dreams and goals stay as daydreams, unless you do something turn them into reality.
Achieving your dreams and goals depends on several factors:
You need to have a specific and clear goal.
You have to be sure that you really want to achieve your goal.
You need to create a clear mental image of your goal.
You need a strong desire.
You need to disregard doubts and thoughts about failure.
You have to show confidence and faith, and persevere, until you achieve your goal.
How many people fulfill all the above-mentioned requirements? Just a few! Most people do not know that there are laws governing success, which should be followed.
It is so easy and simple to daydream, and then say, "Well it is just a daydream. It will never come true". It is so easy to give up and lose faith and motivation, when you facing obstacles.
You can achieve your dreams and goals using your mental tools.
Achieving your goals shouldn't be a tough ordeal. In fact, it can be fun and pleasure, if you go in the right way. It is not hard physical work that brings success. Success does not require hard physical labor. In fact, you need to do mental work.
Visualization and repeating affirmations make up this mental work, and are important stepping stones to achieving success. When you visualize and affirm, you focus and channel your energies toward your goal. Your mind is geared toward finding solutions to bring your goal into manifestation.
By thinking in a positive manner on your goal, and not letting any doubts enter your mind, your intuition starts working, you recognize opportunities, and you have energy at your disposal to follow your goals and dreams.
There are people who, listen to subliminal messages that program their minds for success. There are many CD's available today, which implant subliminal messages into the mind, so as to activate its power. It is said that these subliminal messages, which go straight to the subconscious mind, bring faster results.
When you visualize and affirm your goals, you gain much more, than what you gain by programming your mind passively with subliminal messages. The attention, intention and energy you channel toward visualizing and affirming improve your resolve, concentration, willpower and self-discipline, unlike using subliminal messages.
One of the advantages of visualization and affirmations is that you can use them wherever you are, at any time or place, without the necessity of any external requirements. All you need is your mind.
Success is attained through work, perseverance, ambition, and visualization. This is a process often that takes time, shorter or longer, depending on the goal. However, sometimes, success might appear in a miraculous and surprising manner. Sometimes, opportunities appear and doors open, but you need to get in, and take advantage of the opportunity.

Everyone has bigger and smaller goals. Visualization and affirmations make them easier and faster to achieve.
Do think that only major goals can be considered as goals? For example:
  • Becoming wealthy.
  • Getting an expensive car.
  • Buying a big house with a swimming pool.
  • Building a very successful business.
The truth is that the following are no less important goals:
  • Waking up early in the morning.
  • Arriving to work on time.
  • Spending more time with your family.
  • Reading a book.
  • Going to see a movie with your wife, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend.
  • Controlling your eating habits.
  • Exercising your body.

You Can Achieve Dreams and Goals

  • How do you visualize and affirm?
  • Are there any special rules and instructions?
  • Yes, there are!
Like any other subject, if you want to do it right you need to study it right.
It is simple and easy to learn to achieve success through visualization and affirmations. Anyone can learn to use them right. Browse the website, and you will find a lot of practical and useful information about these topics

What Do You Want to Do With Your Life?

What Do You Want to Do With Your Life? What do you want to do with your life? It’s a question almost everyone asks themselves. It’s also a question  I don’t believe you should bother asking in the first place. “I don’t know what I want to do in life, all I know is that  it isn’t this .” That was the sentiment a friend reflected to me. She’s in her mid-twenties, smart, savvy and hard working. But she is still stuck working jobs that don’t hover much beyond minimum wage. Every year, she tells me, that she applies for Universities, but never goes through with it.  Why?  Because she can’t answer that question. Passion Evolves I worry a lot of people fall into the same trap. The trap of believing that they need to make big life decisions before they can start doing anything. The trap that you need to be born with a passion. And the lie that being able to combine your interests with a profession is easy. When people ask me what I’m going to be doing...

You Suck. Get Over It

Life isn’t a steady escalator. Sometimes getting better requires that you first get a lot worse. If you can’t admit to yourself that you suck at something, chances are it will hold you back from future improvements. Pride, ego, fear of rejection, call it what you will. The result is the same. Part of you likes your temporary holdout in life. It isn’t the work that scares you, or even the unknown. It’s the fact that in order to move forward you have to get your hands dirty. Examples of “I Suck” Moments Creating Progress I’d like to argue that “I Suck” moments aren’t the rarity. Letting go of what you already have is a crucial part of many improvements. Here’s just a few examples of how failing to utilize “I Suck” moments could hold you back: The Dead-End Job You want to start a business. But you don’t know anything about business. In fact, you’re pretty sure it can’t compete with the salary you are already earning. Your job is comfortable, but it doesn’t make you want to...
Inspiration comes in many forms and can strike randomly.  Some days we have an abundance of creative energy which comes naturally, other days it’s not so easy.  Writing, music, art and design all help me foster internal creativity, and I know you probably feel the same way. There are a ton of blogs dedicated to inspiration, and while that is not the main theme I write on here, I do enjoy sharing some of my philosophies on life with you from time to time. I find it extremely useful when other bloggers write quick lists highlighting articles they enjoyed writing because it is pretty easy to miss a post if you follow a lot of blogs. The importance of keeping your mind sharp cannot be overstated. We’re all part of a fantastic intellectual and information economy, which thrives on ideas, creativity and intelligence. Keeping your mind sharp is sure to give you the edge over the competition, and more importantly lead to your own higher levels of happiness. When your mind is...
